The Thin Red Line....

Anything can be done for friendship. Anything can be done for love. People do absurd things for both.

Friends go to the very extents, the very ends of the world to help each other. So do people in love. But when a guy and a girl are "just good friends" and when they go great distances to help each other- does it mean they are still "just good friends" or are they in love? That question can never be answered.

People always say, a guy and a girl can never be "just good friends". Provokes me to say- social stigma or just another dogma promoted by the society. Can a girl and guy be just friends- certainly yes. It can happen. Relationships are evolved on basis of sheer proximity. If a person starts to distance themselves from their friend, the relationship slowly dies out. However, it does not involve physical distance. Friends or even lovers separated by thousands of miles still can maintain their relationship, thanks to the advent of the internet, iphone, and whatnots. It's all about emotional proximity.

There's just a very fine, thin, red line, imaginary of course, which marks the boundary between friendship and love between a girl and a guy. This line gets breached only when one mistakes the others feelings for them. More often than not it does happen.

With Valentine's day approaching, I am quite sure a lot of people would like to profess their love to the girl/guy who's on their mind. It could even be their best friend. Who knows? Well, best friends falling in love is not rare, but the relationship between best friends can never be the same if one proposes and the other happens to reject. Such people rarely tend to remain friends forever.

People who are going to propose to that "one" on Valentine's day- please take care. You may either get yourself killed by jumping excitedly or by a broken heart. Whatever it is- life must go on.

I know whatever I said will be termed as bullshit and I probably might be burnt at stake for blasphemy. Alright. I'll end my bullshit with this.

The Indian TALIBAN

Everyone knows what the Taliban did in Afghanistan. Then you may ask me, I know it, why the hell are you writing this then? Well, Taliban has apparently surfaced in India too.
WHAT???!!!!

Well, this Taliban dont wear attires similar to the ones worn by the ORIGINAL Taliban. This Taliban wears ORANGE/SAFFRON. Yes people, This is our very own, HINDUTVA (or whatever they call it) Taliban. India has always been a strong critic of the Taliban and here is our very own Taliban that displays a brutality that can only be matched by the people who inspired them.

The papers screamed about the recent attacks, by the ram sene on an MP's daughter. The reason- She was found talking with a Muslim guy on a bus. Err.. Pardon me if I'm mistaken. I don't think she was talking to an alien creature about how to take over the earth or something? or is talking to a Musalmaan so illegal and Taboo in Karnataka, that there is hardly any person there that fails to interact with their muslim colleagues, or is ram sene gonna attack anyone and everyone who is found interacting with a muslim?

Apart from all that, Valentine's day IS wrong in India, as per our culture, it should be banned. That s what the ram sene wants right? Alright. Well, Far as my memory goes, everything we use today, right from A-Z, from calculators to computers, from mobile phones to cars, everything came to India. All these were not a part of Indian culture. And the concept of independence day too, once again borrowed from the west. We follow all these but what exactly is wrong with Valentine's day? You are all fathers and mothers to someone. You accept fathers day and mothers day wholeheartedly because you are happy that your son/daughter remembers that day and wishes you and buys stuff for you and keeps you happy. Is there no thought in your mind that your son/daughter may have someone close to his or her heart that he/she may choose to express the love in their hearts on a chosen day.

Well, It's just another day. Come on ram sene, Give us youngsters a break. And who on earth gave you the idea that young India does not have any regard or respect for Indian traditions.
Count the no of heads with grey hair and saffron cloth in a temple, no, you wont find too many.

The Taliban did all that they could to wreck their country from within, in the name of protecting Islam. The ram sene, appear to be doing the same thing. Such activities should be nipped in the bud and made sure that such weeds do not crop up again.

OK, what exactly do these people want? That people wear only saffron coloured traditional clothing? That women be humbled so much that we would not be having a lady as a president? That people should never ever interact with a Muslim colleague/friend? All these issues seem so superficial, when there are extremely important issues to be targeted.

India already has enough problems thanks to terrorists and corrupt politicians. And this is only adding fuel to the fire. Should the members of ram sene, etc, have something called a brain (if you know what it is. And if u don't know what it is- it's a cauliflower shaped thingy that tells you what to do and what not to do. and if it dies, you are dead.) they should realise that their acts of brutality and total nonsense are only demeaning the country.

Hope the ram sene and many such moral-policing organistaions realise that they are a disgrace to the country and shut up their work and do some work to help the country grow, not in population, but in stature, in respect, in economy , in prosperity. And....

DON'T MAKE INDIA LOOK LIKE A JACKASS BY YOUR STUPID ACTS OF MORAL POLICING. YOU ARE DOING MORE HARM THAN GOOD.
